Such a unique, fun gift for my granddaughter! She loves the books and is fully engaged while learning. Can’t thank you enough for creating these fabulous books & persevering through “start up” headaches so dear & bright little minds like my granddaughters can learn! Love the products! Only struggle is the mechanisms are very taunt. For example the slope and pulley mechanisms quickly slam down, so you need to be careful of little fingers!
Other than that my daughter loves all three books!
I have been backing these books individually so while I can't speak for receiving them all at once, my kids have enjoyed them and will learn more as they continue to interact with them. While I like the ability to teach the more complex topics more interactively with blinking lights (maybe they win the big kids over more than the younger ones) this last one may be the best. Granted my sampling group has evolved with the releases so even the older books I see being interacted with differently.
My wife has been the deciding force on which one of the three she likes the best, Simple Machines. Her background with kids also probably makes her a better judge but the content may also not help her on the others. I will say its lack of batteries is great vs the first two and preserving the interactive reading experience keeps it less of "the same story again". Personally my vote is on the earlier books but I'd like my kids to learn core concepts and not just AI prompts, I see those as the digital touchy/feely with less vinyl and faux-fur.
Keep coming up with great alternatives to just text on a page and encourage the interaction!
I sent these to my grandson and he liked them a lot. The colors and shapes grabbed his attention right away. He is not quite 3 so he pulled on the pulley and broke it not totally realizing what would happen. An older child may not have done that.
It was a bit of a wait but you provide great customer service and let me know about your delays so I knew ahead of time that it would be awhile. Being informed is everything.
